Is it true that nice guys finish last? I dont mind being a nice guy and finishing last as long as I end up happy. Is being a nice guy really that bad, are bad boys really more exiting and challenging?

No, some girls are immature and dont think long term when gettting involved with a guy. At the moment we just look at the outside but it hit us later that we missed out on a really good guy. Dont worry about it though, you will find happiness. Take your time.

Hey, I would have to say that nice guys do finish last, but that doesn't mean you have to be a jerk or a bad boy. As an ex-nice guy, I have been finding out what works and doesn't. I think I can narrow to three important things you need.
1) Act like a man. Know your path, who you are, and where you are going. Girls are able to tell if you are lying or not being congruent with who you are. You will also need to approach a lot of girls before you will be able to show them that you have these qualities.
2) Don't hide the fact that you want them. Tell them they are sexy as hell, or they are a sexy dancer, or give them long EYE CONTACT. And show them that you are a sexual threat. Like saying to yourself "I want you, but I don't need you".
3) Don't be a emotional and clingy. The absolute key is to show higher social value. What is the key? That's right, show higher social value. If you don't know how to be the cool person, you need to start hanging out with people that are good with women or at least start acting like them. As far as not being clingy, never say things like, I just want to tell you what is on my mind, or as if the girl is ok. Save that for their therapist.
Lastly, for me at least. There might be something wrong with you in how you act to other people. Just do some research and notice how people react to your every action. Read up on body language. If you want to be good with ladies, it is going to take a while. I heard it would take 6 months to a year. I started 10 months back. I started to get discouraged constantly, but most of all after 6 months. It has now clicked and im seeing only the hottest ladies. Good luck and don't give up.
Oh, more. Don't give girls any type of special treatment. When I go to bars, I make girls buy all my drinks. If they do something retarded, silly, or embarrassing... Call them a dork. If they hold you or someone else to double standards or are being hypocritical. Call them out and tell them how dumb they are being. They will hate that you are right, but will love it at the same time. I'd write more, but I have to go meet up with some new ladies at the bar.
Oh, never ever lie to a girl.

In the long run, nice guys finish first. Girls date and chase bad boys. We eventually get sick of being played, treated like crap, and the challenge wears thin. We get sick of trying to change a bad boy into a nice guy and finally just choose a nice guy. Be patient, the world needs more nice guys.

you may finish last, but you will be happy in the end with someone who truly loves everything about you. So be yourself and don't change for anyone. Bad boys are exciting, but that fades away and in the end you do want the ' nice guy" for the long haul

All too often we hear self-professed "Nice Guys" complaining about why they can't get a date, and whining that women just want to date jerks, etc. etc. The truth of the matter is that there are genuinely caring, compassionate, decent, fun guys out there who have NO TROUBLE meeting people, getting dates, and having relationships.
Unfortunately, many of the guys who DO have trouble, insist on laying blame and asserting that women don't want them because they are too "Nice". These people who call themselves "Nice Guys" can't see that THEIR OWN behavior is the problem. Whether it is targetting women who are troubled to begin with, or acting in a manipulative, patronizing or obsequious fashion, these guys sabotage themselves and blame others for their misfortunes.

I'm a nice guy and I consider myself a winner! Don't believe that sh@t dude. If our society is going to survive we will be the ones that make it possible. I have achieved every goal I have set for myself! No. I don't have a family yet, but I know I will. I will meet the perfect woman, and I refuse to "settle". We are the shining stars my friend. all these answers are exactly how i feel funny how we all complain about finishing last ,karma,and the famous exscuse of all.....YOU HAVENT FOUND YOUR SOULMATE, or THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY HAVE OR HAD....what a crock of s#$@!!!!!!!seems to me that when i subconsciously treat someone like s$#@ they are commited when i be myself they get scared or they are not used to a nice caring guy who means buisness....what is the truth behind the people like us who are sincere dont play games or just the right person why do we feel like we get burned all the time?.......

no way. thats a myth. I know a nice guy who is assertive and can be very aggressive when he feels the need to be. I'll guarantee he'll never finish last.........

when you grow up you will not need to ask questions like this. with age comes wisdom grasshopper . and by the way bad boys will become bad men and nobody will want them.
