Yes, you were wrong. Causing a bus to stop in traffic is reserved for emergencies only. Why? Because it endangers the lifes of ALL others on the road. A direct statement to the girls such as, "You're too old to be acting like little kids" may have sufficed. For that matter, completely ignoring them would have worked, too.

Hmmm. . . I wouldn't say you were "wrong", but I think the key to the story are the ages involved. I think kids at any age can be annoying, but were there other ways you could have gone about it, well . . .yes. But hey, we weren't there, you were. But if you're on here wondering if you were wrong, maybe your conscience is telling you so. I think it serves the rudes brats right, but God forbid it was their only way home. (Still tough luck for them) But you are 40 years old, old enough to be their parent, and also older than both of their ages together. If you didn't have a long way to ride, could it hurt to ignore them a little longer?

I feel for you, my man. But I think you could have done something more along the lines of patiently waiting it out. There's always the chance that you would never see them again, and even if you did, and with all due respect, I would expect a 40-year-old to be mature.

You should be ashamed of yourself, what you did was not any better, you just showed them how easy it was to lie and let someone else get hurt. What if something happens to them because they were having to walk instead of ride the bus. Well, enough of the what if, I gave my lecture and I hope you listen to me.
PS It was kinda funny though

Did they bring back memories for you. Were you bullied in high school? If yes, I think you did the right thing to get revenge after so many years.

I would prob do the same thing, although i aint as old as you are. Now they know not to do hurtful things to other people otherwise they might get screwed in the end.
Good one.

that was very childish of you. someone could have gotten hurt in your moment of retaliation. not knowing what you look like or what you were doing to make the girls make fun of you I would think you have sense enough to just move to another seat. If none were available standing up at the front of the bus would have been just as good. Start growing up and thinking before you react to what children do!
