Last night I hit my hand off of my dresser and when I did it, I couldn't even bend my fingers becuase it hurt so bad. Today it is extremely bruised but the area that hurts the most is not it is just the area around it that is not. I keep on bumping it into things on accident but it hurts like heck! I can't stand to bend my ring and pinky finger or my wrist because of the pain. Should I go get it checked? What can I put on it to keep from bumping it into things?

Most definetly go see a doctor! If u can move ur fingers they arent broken, most likely. But if u cant move them..then ur S O L! Its best that u go check it. As for bumping into things...wrap it up and stop using ur hand! Good Luck!

Have your mom or that curly haired teacher get you some oven mitts to keep you from bumping into things. Take a jazzercize class to gain some confidence. Talk to your pastor about your clumsiness - it may be an adolescent phase. Take the bus instead of driving - you don't want to put others at risk. A warm bath with epsom salts will do you wonders. When snacking, stick to veggies. Don't gossip. Stay away from the alcohol for now.

Possbly

If it hurts when you do nothing at all, definately.

I mean hurts

I mean you can't sleep hurt

If you can't hold things in that hand, definately.

Put an ace bandage or a wrist support to imoblize it.

I would definately seek some medical attention - you may have a small hairline fracture or done some nerve damage that could turn much worse down the road.

Sounds like you have severely injured your hand and need to see a doctor for an x-ray. Wrap it in a tensor bandage until you get to the doctor. try not to use that hand if you can avoid it

Tape your fingers together with a brace (popsicle sticks, small wood pieces, normal finger brace etc.) It sounds like you jammed your fingers and maybe just hurt your wrist......maybe a small sprain.

I would have it checked. If it was broken, the pain would be pretty bad. It might be just fractured. Have it looked at, before it gets serious. it is better to be safe than sorry.

Yes, try tapping the tip of your finger, if pain run down your finger, it may be broken.
