I don't see why not. They certainly don't promote a negative body image. The girls don't dance raunchy, they aren't super skinny (or skinny at all!) and they dress cute but still modest.

Yes, 8 is in the targeted age range for The Cheetah Girls. It's not inappropriate.

Yes they are. It's all about dancing, shopping and singing with them. Also a lot of the topics they bring up are good for kids her age to know about. I haven't seen nothing sexual or anything like that. It's just girls being girls.. it's cool.

yes.. I always have loved it, Even my 8 year old brother admits to liking it! I cant wait for the 2nd one to come out on friday! (im 12 and i luv it!)

yes, its a great movie that promotes teamwork, loyalty, girl power, and friendship. it also promotes pride and self confidence. if youre still not sure, watch it with her. as far as i remember, it has no inappropriate material. disney channel is very kid-friendly.
