In the past year and a half I gained 22 pounds. I love my new fat, the bounce of it when I walk, the comfy roll of it when I sit. But how do I expalin it to my friends who haven't seen me. Should I bring it right up, or should I wait for them to say, "You've gained weight!" and then I can tell them, "I LOVE my new fat!"

You know what will happen when you open the door they will look you up and down and just have that look like "WOW". If they are true friends they shouldnt say anything. People change body types change who really cares. Just more to love and more to hug.

You ahould realize that they're probably just concerned about your health. Having rolls of fat is not good for you.

Why not make yourself a T-shirt that says "I'm Fat And I Love It" then you can avoid the dilemna

Wait for them to say that you have ghained weight. Then take some of mine.

i dont really think they would point out the fact you've gained weight because they might think it offends you. so go ahead and exclaim your joy to them when you meet up!

Why.... would you have to explain anything...to them.. This is your body..and your life.. If they are your real..true friends..they should accept you however you are...... skinny or fat...
