I can think of two meanings for the word
When you "Cuss", you are using curse words in your speech....profanity.
"Cuss" is a polite way to describe your colorful language.
I have also heard of someone being described as a stubborn old cuss...which means an annoying person.
Take care, and don't do too much cussing :)
