The left ventricle is the chamber that pumps blood out to the systemic circulation. Blood returns via the veins to the right atrium, to the right ventricle, from there to the lungs - back to the left atrium, to the left ventricle...and from there to the rest of the body.

You mean the lungs and heart? That would be the right ventricle. The left ventricle pumps blood to the rest of the body.
