I find I'm most successful if I think about what I'll likely encounter the next day, and what I will want to eat, write it all down on an index card and cross it off when I eat it.

I always plan for a sweet or treat, usually at the end of the day, as something to look forward to.

I've lost 50 pounds since I joined the program in 2002.

My mother used to be in this diet and she throughly enjoyed it. And far as sticking with it...its basically all based on your drive and determination which I know everyone possess its just a matter of applying yourself. Setting your goals...always seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Just remember that its not just a quick fix but ultimately a lifestyle change...for the better.

To stick with it.....change your mind in that don't consider it a "diet" but a change in lifestyle, something you're going to continue to do even after you come off the program. And then, keep your eyes on the goal!

I used to be on it...I really enjoyed it, but I joined with a family member. I thought it would be good, for support, but it turned out that I just felt weird about it. It was like a family event. Everywhere we went it was like, "So she lost 12 pounds how much have you lost so far? Are you still on it? Why are you eating that chip?" It was sooo annoying for someone who likes to remain private about it.
Good luck! I'm gonna go back...BY MYSELF ;)
