Metabolism is increased by eating very small meals but eating frequently. Most articles I have read suggest 6 small meals daily.

There are not really specific foods - the best way to increase your metabolism is excercise and eating small meals throughout the day. If you are not willing to do this, I am afraid you will have limited sucess. Some studies have said Acai berries help with metabolism, maybe that would help?

well this isn't exactly a food, but you could eat coffee beans. i would have said drink coffee or tea since caffeine inhibits appetite and increases metabolism, but they are drinks, not foods. you would get the same effect with coffee beans only i would get the chocolate covered ones. those things are delicious.
