Your vet probably has puppy milk replacer on hand and can show you how to supplement your puppy. Because he's a runt & doesn't seem to be doing that well, it would be a good idea to take the puppy in as soon as possible. In the meantime, remove some or all of the others every couple hours and make sure this little one gets a chance to latch onto a good nipple and let him nurse as long as he wants.
It's not unusual for puppies to fight for the juiciest nipple - or any nipple at all sometimes! LOL.
Puppy formula is also readily available at most pet stores such as Petco. You will need a puppy bottle too. The ready-mixed stuff is quick and easy; the dry formula is cheaper, but you'll have to sterilize water, then wait for it to cool down to mix it. What I'd do is get one of each - ready mix to start asap, and dry to prepare ahead of time.
These are things you should have on hand *before* you run into an emergency. Please ask your vet if he has any other recommendations for you.
Good luck with the new "babies". I grew up with Boxers and still love 'em. :-)

Sometime there is runt in the litter, If the Mother is pushing it away you will have to feed the little thing yourself, It is very demanding and the outcome is not usually a happy one. If Mum refuses to feed it, put it down, she knows that the pup is weak and cannot survive,So Sad I have been through it myself. Good Luck. ps.Ring the vet or take them all there

If you or someone else is around a lot have the puppy and momma spend time alone in a room. At first you may need to help the puppy feed. If you do this it will catch up to the others. Some nutritional supplement may help but the puppy need dog milk to build up immunity. Just don't let the puppy get dehydrated and unable to feed.

You can pick up a milk replacer at your vets or at the pet store.....Esbilac is the most common, or you could help the little guy every couple of hours by sitting with him while he nurses so the others cant push him away. If mom isnt caring for him at all, it will be up to you to stimulate him to urinate and deficate as well. There may be health ploblems involved as well. Check in with your vet see what they recommend.

yes you can get the formula and a bottle from the pet shop. It will be very hard to hand rear it you will get hardly any sleep as you will havee to feed it every couple of hours so you have to be dedicated and you have to stimulate it to go to the toilet with a damp cotton wool ball. I had to do it with my dogs six puppies for weeks and i lost one of them so i know how diffilcult it will be. GOOD LUCK!!!

Take the dam out and put the little one one her. If she has access and doesn't have to compete for a spot, she will catch up to the others.
