I have owned an El Co' for 18 years! Great car if you like to do your own maintenance. Safe because they are heavy, but crappy mileage. Also, El Co's cannot carry many people (but a bed for cargo). Both have huge support for parts. They are not "real" classics, but each has its own loyal following. I know this is not really what you asked, but may help on deciding which to buy! Laters...
