Sounds like the game is working fine. What you need to do is right click on the icon and select properties. Here you can select to run the program in compatibility mode. This will allow you to simulate the running of the program as if under another operating system. This is only available in Windows XP.

Right click on the program or shortcut. Go to properties, then compatibility. I don't remember if win95 is on the list, but 98 is. Try that. I have many games myself that xp won't even let me install, let alone play. Some windows, some dos. XP won't let me play any dos games. However, if you can install it, you may be able to play it, but not always.

Try downloading Microsoft Virtual PC and Install Windows 95 (only if you got the disk and product key). But emulating Windows on top of Windows XP may be even slower!

Sorry, it is not likely to ensue. Older video games administration instruments without postpone for overall performance motives, which residing house windows XP (and Vista) do no longer enable for defense motives. suited guess is that if the recreation producer re-releases the recreation under a greater modern-day working gadget. I saved an previous gadget working Win95 for a protracted time via fact my teenage son liked a recreation that only ran under Win95. finally he have been given over it.
