I am agnostic and bash fundie-christians occasionally as many of you have seen, but I focus on Islamists cause they are the immenient threat and Christianty has evolved to a place of co-existance like all other religions except Islam.

Whats funny to me though is that most of the Christian-hate doesnt come from people like me or atheists, its comes from Leftists Christians and Islamists. Now, Islam directly tells Muslims to hate Christians and Jews, but leftists...whats the self-loathing about?

Leftists, all this hate comes partly from a underlying disbelief, you just havent the courage to admitt it. Why not grow-up and leave the religion?

Honestly leftists, if you have contempt for almost all Christian doctrines except a couple, your no different than a Muslim, I mean, whats left to your pathetic ad hoc christianty? In fact, I respect most Christian doctrines and am instead agnostic.

Its funny how you love Islam...considering it is the farthest extreme of the right.

Well, I did leave Christianity, so I can bash 'em all I want. Christ rocks, and I have no problem with him, but I won't put up with "Christians" who don't really follow his example, but rather, follow the history of a tainted, greedy, hateful "church" which pretty much seems like a big money-making social control scam. Maybe they wanna work on Christianity from the inside, like double agents. Who knows why they don't quit, or start Christian churches that are more, um, Christian.

Now, the Taliban and other "Muslim" groups are no more Muslim than, say David Koresh was Christian. You have to remember that some of these groups in power are dangerous cults, motivated by crazy ideas of destruction and hatred of outsiders. You can't lump all Muslims in with their a sshole leaders. I have no problem with complaining about bad "Muslims" who really don't espouse Islamic ideals. Good Muslims are getting smashed under the boot of military regimes who pose as religious leaders with religious police. Hate the sin, not the sinner? Hate the Muslim fanatic leaders, not the Muslims. Those evil leaders don't represent every Muslim out there.

If Islam was to preach against Jews and Christians as you say it does, they could have done this job when they ruled parts of Europe for about 700 years or when they ruled Jerusalem for about 800 years.

There have been times in past when the Muslims fought against Christians but nothing like what we are seeing now and I blame ignorant Christians for painting the whole religion terrorist which also helps them recruit more new people saying "see, we told you, they think we are all terrorists and we all should die" which is true if you look at Yahoo! Answers, many "Christ lovers" have suggested to kill all the Muslims to solve the problems in the world.
In the past, it was just one community of Muslims vs one community of Christians, no one has every blamed the whole religions until now.

Easy... the first... because they aren't really Christians at all...just wanna-bees. The second hold true to their beliefs, so at very least are honest.. whatever you may think of them otherwise.

I think either extreme is bad. I see the results of both.
Hate and intolerance by anyone is just unacceptable.

the key word is "hate".

those who hate without consideration of the facts are just trash upon this earth, regardless of their religious belief or non-belief.
