Hi Tara. I don't know how old you are, but vitamins wouldn't hurt you. A good balance between carbs and protein will help. (don't fall for that bad-carb b.s.). Eat iron rich food like beets etc. And don't make the old-fashioned mistake of eating less. Eat as much as you want of good low cal foods that take more energy to burn up. Every single fruit and veggie is fair game. The biggest mistake people make is messing with their portions and trying to be happy with it when they feel deprived. Some of us are eaters, no harm in that, just do things like have a full glass of water with your meals, (and actually drink it), a small salad before your actual main course helps, whole grain bread instead of white. Keep veggie and fruit cut up pretty in the fridge and make some low-cal dips to make it more appealing to you. Also I dont know what you feel about fake sweeteners, but the more I read the studies the more that I think they are bad for you. These are all my opions, hope I helped somewhat. Good luck! Ps I forgot to say that mild exercise like just a walk around the block will speed up your metabolism a bit which will give you some nice boosts of energy. I find that the more I have worked out, the more I could do.

often times when you are out of shape, then you will feeel like you dont have as much energy. THe best thing to do is eat a balanced diet, sleep at least 8 hours each night and excercise for about 1/2 an hour daily. By excercise though, it could be walking or biking or even doing yard work. Just get out there and do smomething and soon enough you will feel like you have more energy than before.

Drink lots of water,(stay away from snacking and don't eat after 7:30pm) eat low carbs and high protein foods.Have a desire to snack at night ,drink a big glass of water or eat an apple.Then start walking,everyday. No energy,walk slow at first then increase in rate and distance everyday.Your energy will increase the weight will come off. Remember be patient it didn't get on your body in one week or on month.It won't come off that soon either.Good luck!

Eat good breakfast to speed up your energy during the day and don't eat about 4 hour before bed.
Drink a lots of water.
Just by doing this you will see a lots of progress.

This is what you are looking for. Diets do not work. 99% of people gain the weight back. Here is how it works. No one teaches the animal what to eat and what not to eat. He knows instinctively what to eat. Humans also have the same instinct. The way it works is just eat whatever tastes good and that will be healthy for you and non-fattening. That is why a baby tastes everything. So again whatever tastes good, is good for you. This is why you will spit out spoiled milk.
But wait!!! Man has the technology to create rat poison. It tastes like healthy food (good taste) but kills the rat. So man has done that to you. Note- any food unaltered by man (uncooked) that tastes good, is good for you. So if you are stranded in the woods, that is how you know what to eat (cooking changes that). So man has created fake fruit. It tastes like fruit that exists in nature but it is terrrible for health, addictive and fattening called sweets.
So it is natural to like real sweets called fruit, like a baby does, but they have fooled you just like the rat. But they do not want to kill you. They want you to become obese so you will buy lots of their foods. This is called GOOD BUSINESS.
