Most delicious but not fast: marinate for a few hours in the following:
Marinated shrimp:
1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon minced peeled fresh ginger
2 teaspoons grated lemon rind
2 teaspoons grated orange rind
2 teaspoons curry powder
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
1 1/2 pounds medium raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
Toss these either on to the grill or over medium low heat on top of the stove for about 7 minutes (with a little bit of butter) and mmmmgood eatin!
Now fast: Take raw shrimp, peeled and tail off, melt some butter, add minced garlic, then add the shrimp and cook 5-7 minutes until pink. Serve over buttered noodles.

Shrimp in Garlic and Tomato Sauce
12 ounces shelled and deveined uncooked shrimp
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon cornstarch
1 egg white
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 scallions, cut into shreds
2 small firm tomatoes, peeled and cut into eighths
6 tablespoons vegetable oil
Hot cooked rice
Sauce:
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
6 tablespoons chicken stock
1-1/2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with 3 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon sesame seed oil
Toss the shrimp in a bowl with the salt.
Dust the shrimp with the cornstarch, and coat in the egg white.
Drop enough batter onto a greased griddle to make a pancake of approximately 3" diameter.
Make sure some slices of tomato get into every one.
In a second pan (or the first, if you remove the shrimp ), over high heat, stir-fry the garlic in a little more oil, with half the scallions, and the tomatoes, for half a minute.
Add the tomato sauce, salt sugar, and stock.
Continue to cook for about a minute.
Stir in the blended cornstarch and thicken the sauce.
Add the sesame seed oil and the remaining scallions.
Add the shrimp again, blend all well, and serve with rice.

Clean them, Starting with them RAW, grilled them in a skillet with butter & garlic then top with lemon juice.
For a good Boiled/Steamed Shrimp use a seasoning Like : Old Bay or Zataran's.(follow directions on package) After cooking chill & then serve with a Red Sauce ~
Catsup, Horesrashish, garlic, lemon, tiny amount of soy.

Well, my dad and I, for about 1-1 1/2 pounds we use about three scallions, and about a tablespoon of fresh ginger. We don't use the powders or anything so if you're wondering how big of a piece you have to rip/cut off, about the size of a really fat thumb. 1 and 3/4's of an inch x 1 1/4 inch. Cut the scallions in to pieces of about 2 inches, and cut the ginger thinly (into whatever shapes you desire, just don't add in clumps or cubes).
Preheat the pan, add corn oil, add in ginger, slightly cook the ginger, poking it every once in awhile for a couple of seconds until you can smell it. Then add in your shrimp, and sauteé it, add in about.. a teaspoon of salt (if you're using the shaker side, just two clockwise (or counterclockwise) rounds of shakes), and a small pinch of MSG. Just a pinch!
=) Simple, and really really yummy!

to boil shrimp, use a good shrimp or crab boil, add you seasoning to the water and bring to a boil, add 2 sticks of butter(makes peeling the shrimp very easy) boil for 3mins, turn off fire and let shrimp soak for 4 mins, (if shrimp boil longer than 7 mins they are overcooked and are tuff) make a dipping sauce using ketchup, wostershire sauce, and louisiana hot sauce. enjoy!!!

Grilled shrimp is the best. There's nothing like biting into a breaded, seasoned shrimp that has been on the grill and asorbed so much flavor.

Saute in a lot of butter with garlic and lemon until opaque, do not overcook. Add a liberal amount of Parmesan cheese and serve over linguini. Voila, Shrimp Scampi.

the easiest way that is the best would be to put a stick of butter in a pan with about two punds of shrimp add garlic parsley and put in the broiler until pink... i like to make some linguini with this (make sure you deshell before)
the easiest would be to make shrimp cocktail ... just boil and chill (you dont have to deshell) to make a good cocktail sauce, ketchup and horseradish in equal parts does wonders and of course lemon

EASY, EASY, EASY!
Melt butter and garlic in the microwave. Let cool
Pour over raw shelled shrimp and broil till pink...turn over and done when that side turns pink. (This only takes about 2 min) Watch it carefully.
Serve over rice. Easy shrimp scampi
Now ..is that quick or what?
