Is it possible that a very attractive girl can end up with a guy who is fairly unattractive. I keep hearing that 10s end up with 10s and 5s with 5s. I just wonder this because my girlfriend and i are kind of like this. I know she loves me but all i hear is that I could never end up with her because she is so gorgous and i'm like i said, probably on the 5 range.

Only guys think on this "rating system" that you all share. We women do not have a rating system at all. Sure, we notice when a guy is hot, or cute, or not. But to tell you the truth, it's PERSONALITY that matters. What we want is to be "wooed," to be adored and flattered and paid attention to. We want to be queens. If you love us and aren't afraid to show it, and make us feel like we are the most important and beautiful person in the world, then we are your forever.
Who cares what you look like, it's who you are.

This happens alot, especially when the 10 is a woman and the 5 is a man. Unlike men, women are not so much visually oriented as we are emotionally oriented. We fall more in love with what we hear and what we know about you rather than just how you look. You're lucky if you have found a great, and beautiful love. Too many times guys fall for a girl because she looks like Beyonce, but they don't look any deeper than the physical and get used and mistreated. Count yourself one of the fortunate ones and remember to let your girl know how valued she is everyday.

Don't believe anyone that saying you can't be with your girlfriend. Because hell look at some of these stars and actors and actresses out here. There is always the hot chick going with the kind of average looking guy. So don't believe she won't stay with you. Its all about the personality anyway, as long as u got that, then u can be with anybody.

Looks do matter. But you know, there are things that are more important than looks. Strong character is one of them.
I know where you are coming from. And even if you dont say it, there is a sense of insecurity that one day, your girl would fall for someone physically more attractive than you.
STOP RIGHT THERE
Do you trust your girl? Do you have belief in your relationship? Do you have faith and can you sustain it?

Dont love her because she loves you despite the fact that you are not as good as her. Love her for what she is.

It's very possible. I'm nowhere close to ugly but can't get a girl any better than a 3 or 4. And at the same time I see these buck-toothed idiot rednecks with mullets walking around with girls that are at least 8s. It blows my mind. Anyway, let that give you some hope.

I have an absolutly beautiful friend that is with a guy who is, as you say, a 5. he is shorter, hairy, and almost resembles a leprechaun :P but he treats he so wonderfully and with so much love that she doesnt think about anyone else but him. They got engaged after 6 months of dating, and they are both sooo happy.

after one gets past the first stage--people tend to go by what's in their heart not the other's looks and you must have something in the looks departmentor she probably never would have given you a second look. whoever has told you that is probably very jealous. dont worry about it. this girl obviously cares about what matters most. and thats personality. looks arent everything. and dont have such low self esteem.
