Okay the man gets paid on Thursday
The bank is open on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
The eye Doctor is open all days but Saturday
The market is closed on Thursday and Friday.
So he didn't go on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday, or Wednesday.
But he got paid on Thursday so he could have held onto his check until Sunday or Tuesday because those are the only two days left. So usually Sunday is for church so lets assume he goes to church so that means he would have gone to town on Tuesday.
My guess is Tuesday.
OH Boy that has to be right LOL. If not then I don't know.

tuesday!Why? Had to be tuesday thursday or saturday. Eye doctor is closed on saturday so its tuesday or thursday. market is closed thursday so it must have been tuesday!

he go to town at anyday is fine, becaue he not necessary to come back the same day. and he can get the money from the bank, which was paid the previous thursday. u dint not mention how much he got paid every week,it can be very high, so, he can spend on hotel sleeping at night. so, this is very simply, anyday is fine.

Wedneday, there is no possibly way he cant get his eye tested on tuesday cuz the bank are closed.
