The short answer is, none.
• Beef is full of antibiotics and growth hormones. Ground beef is fequently contaminated with E. coli and must be cooked to 160 F to be safe.
• Pigs are raised in filth and made to drink their own urine.
• Chicken carries salmonella from being bathed in water contaminated with feces. Anything that comes in contact with raw chcken must be scrubbed with soap and hot water.
• Hot dogs carry listeriosis and must be very thoroughly cooked.
• Any of the larger fish, including tuna, have a toxic load of mercury. It is recommended that healthy adults have tuna no more than once a month; pregnant and nursing mothers should avoid it altogether.
And the list goes on....

This may help explain why so many of us have become vegetarians.

A popular diet (in the sense of a food regimen, not a weight-loss plan) is the 100-mile diet: eating local foods grown within 100 miles of your home. If you live where you have access to organic meats raised in wholesome conditions, those products are safe. Even then, you should remove visible fat since it contributes to cholesteral.

Hope that tells you what you wanted to know. Not pretty, but it's all accurate!

P.S. Chicken McNuggets contain 37 ingredients. Can we still call it "chicken"?

All meat is healthy if you eat it in small qualnities. Not that huge 16 oz. steak you get at a restaurant. Even hamburg is good if you get the 90% lean stuff. Fried chicken is probably the worst for you, but if the oil is at the right temperature, even that is ok!
Meat gets a bad rap.
