Here is my recipe for guacamole:

2 ripe avocados
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup regular mayonnaise
1/4 cup regular sour cream
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder, or more to taste
1 medium tomato, very finely diced and juice squeezed out
or
1/4 cup mild salsa
2 scallions, finely minced
2 cloves garlic put through the garlic press

directions:

Use a spoon to scoop out the avocado and mash it thoroughly with the lemon juice and salt. Add remaining ingredients, mix thoroughly and chill for 1/2 hour before serving. If you are going to need the guacamole to "keep" for a few hours, leave out the mayonnaise when you prepare it. Then spread the mayonnaise in a thin layer over the top of the guacamole in the dish, and stir it in just before serving.

here's a great recipe...
6 avocados (soft, but not mushy)
2-4 cloves garlic, minced (depends on how much you like garlic)
1 lime, cut in half
1 medium tomato, diced
1/2 medium onion, diced
salt
chopped cilantro (optional)
1 diced jalapeno pepper (optional) or serrano pepper (optional)

1. Cut avacados in half, remove pit, and spoon avocado into a mixing bowl.
2. Add minced garlic and squeeze the juice from one-half of the lime into the bowl of avacado.
3. Mash the ingredients together to desired consistency using the back of a large spoon or a potato masher (some like the avocado chunky, some like it smoother).
4. Fold in diced tomato and diced onion, a couple pinches of salt, and the juice from the remaining lime half (Also add cilantro or peppers at this time).
5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 30-45 minutes.
6. Uncover and taste.
7. Add salt as needed.
8. If you don't give the resulting guacamole at least 4 stars, then you ain't making it right.
9. NOTE: The purpose of the lime is to allow any leftover guacamole to retain its "avocado" color as it sits in the fridge.
10. Some folks use lemon, but it's been my experience that if you accidently add too much lemon, it seriously affects the guacamole's flavor; if you happen to add too much lime, the guacamole just gets a little more tangy.
11. If you find the leftover guacamole has darkened, simply stir it before eating and use more fresh lime juice next time.
12. Wholly guacamole may be used as a topper with tacos, enchiladas, fajitas, etc.
13. However, some say it is at its best with a bowl of warm tortilla chips and an ice cold beer.

2 ts Mayonnaise
1/2 ts Salt

Instructions

Peel and seed the avocados. Add all ingredients and mash until smooth. The lemon juice will keep it from turning dark.

You can also try those dry mixes for guacamole found in the produce section usually next to the avocados. I use them often and add some lemon or lime juice just a sprinkle, some pace picante sauce and a finely chopped tomato. The dry mix just speeds things along. I also use 3 avocados instead of the 2 called for on the mix package.

Guacamole is easy to make! Just mash the insides of two or three avacados with one or two mashed garlic cloves, a few sprigs of cilantro chopped (if you like cilantro -- it's an herb that you either like or hate) add a few squeezes of fresh lime juice, and salt and pepper to taste. Yum! Some people like to add diced onion and tomatoes, and even a little sour cream. Personally, I think that takes away from the freshness of the guac. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips or hearty crackers. Enjoy!

Yes you can make guacamole..I've never made it myself but I'm sure you can find a recipe if you google it. But I've seen my friend add a few squirts of lemon on it so that it doesn't turn brown too quickly.

Recipes vary. Here's mine: Mash the meat of one avocado with the juice of 1/2 of a lime. Add one small tomato, diced, about 1/2 an onion, diced, and salt to taste. Mix it all up and enjoy.

Yes you can make it and it's simple. Buy two avocado's and they sell the seasoning packet at any mexican store,or even most walmart's that you add to the avocados. Make sure that the avocados are ripe. (They will be semi soft.) Spoon out the avocados into a small bowl add the seasoning packet. It is pretty self expanitory on the season packet ,then put it in the fridge. And then it's done.

Both or either...

I make it:

Usually 3-4 avacados (ripe - they will be a little soft)
lime juice - 1 - 2 tablespoons
garlic powder - 1 tsp
fresh diced tomato
salt & pepper to taste
If you leave the pit in the dip it will stay good longer
*Add more of anything to taste!
