Is $3000 a good price for a used Ford Probe? Its in good condition and everything. Also, how much would insurance be on it for a teenager?

What year is it and how many miles does it have?
I have a Ford Contour that had about 95000 miles when I got it. It was $2500 and runs pretty good. Now it has about 125000. It just depends. Insurance varies whether you're a male/female, have good grades (I get a 10% discount), etc. Talk to your insurance provider to figure that out.

For $3000 you could get a much more reliable car. The Probe is just not a very good quality car. But Dont Get a Taurus either very weak transmision that is expensive to fix.

Fords are my favorite cars, but probes are my least favorite. they either were flawless or complete crap no in between. like the one gal said on here look at a contour. actually that car is sportier than a probe and a better car overall. and the insurace on a probe would suck. mainly cause your young, and its a two door. and by the way, buy yourself an american car. we don't need another generation just throwing money at the Japs cause they are stupid

you failed to give the model and milage..you can go to car blue book value online and check out the retail price and go to carfax.com to see if it had any major damage done to it. also if it has ever been flooded ...you will need the VIN number from the bottom of the windshield drivers side to get the report for free
