My daughter will be 6 in Sept. I was considering throwing her a party. She has always wanted a girls only party. Is this possible and how? If i send invitations to school don't I have to invite the whole class(including boyz) same prob with daycare. Is there a proper way to do this without being rude, or should I wait till she's older and just invite all genders?

so must of her friends are from school and daycare so I don't have much of a choice. There are 2 or 3 I could mail, but they are not the friends she has mentioned the most in wanting to come. I figured doing it this way, we shoul get a pretty good turnout, and she''ll get some of her best friends.

Hm, I think what you can do is ask the teacher for the phone numbers of the students (I think he/she might give them). And then call the parents of the girls and invite them. But, I mean, you can just ask the teacher to give the girls in the class an invitation (discretely somehow), 'cause I don't think it would be rude to only invite the girls; the boys' parents should understand. And, if you still feel bad, you can always send a cake to the class and have all the kids have a slice. I used to always have cakes during b-days in class.

Or, you can just wait until she's older. Lolz.

Happy b-day to your little girl!!!

Now and then,

When I had birthday parties I didn't invite the whole class, I just invited my friends. Make it a girly theme such as Princess or Hello Kitty theme. That way the boys will definitely not want to be there. You should try and get the addresses of the friends your daughter wants to invite that way you don't have to worry about the rest of the class or daycare kids feeling left out. My mom used to drive me to my friends' houses too and I would hand deliver the invitations.

I just did this with my six year old in March. I went to the school and talked to the teacher and had her put the invitations in the boys backpacks along with a note to their mom telling them to look in the back pack for an invitation. There is no way i wanted 23 kids especially six year olds running through my house and the same with daycare, see if you get names and numbers and do personal invites

Mine is turning 8 this weekend. I had her get the phone numbers of the girls she wanted to invite every year from her class. She brought them home and I talked to their parents to get addresses.
That way I did not have to worry about the other class mates. If you are trying to invite ALL the girls in the class, I would just ask her teacher to help. I am sure the boys wouldnt want to come anyway. Gotta think if you are ready for all that though. I would just stick to a few of her most favorite friends.

Make the theme an all girls party. Like fun with dolls and barbie.. dress up like your favorite barbie. or better yet. females indisney movies. dress up as ur favorite female character in any disney or any movie.

And if you say girls only. its ok to have a gender bday party. and on the inviting the class. it is more appropriate to invite all the girls to the party from the class. as far as day care invite ones that would be old enough.

You can make it a private party and invite certain ppl...and you hand the invites to the parents...if u can when the kids arent around

It's your kids b-day so give her what she wants (all girls) and heres a way to do it without being rude and if you have the time......... get your daughter to list all the girls she wants at her party and once she has the list she can ask those specific girls what they're addresses are and that way you can send an invitation to each girls home. it's much more personal and better for you because if boys are there they will make a mess and give you trouble. trust me!!!!!! i know from experience.

My neighbor did that for her daughter a few years ago. At that age it is common for girls to want and all girl party and there is nothing wrong with it. Consider something like a tea party or dress up party that boys wouldn't like anyway. As for who to invite the best way is to mail them that way they are not being passed out infront of the others who are not invited. But boys won't want to dress up or drink "tea" anyway.

Check on the teaches policy. I'm a teacher and I have no problem sticking invites into back packs. I wouldn't want 20 kids at my house either. I just don't allow the kids to be rude about who is and is not invited. I don't let them make a spectacle of passing them out.

Don't send them to the school or give them out at school. Talk to the teacher and ask her for the addresses for the girls' homes and send the invitations ti their homes only. Otherwise, you should invite the whole class.
