i am an atheist and have no belief in his existence. i answer hypothetically. all religions say god is great omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent. so without his knowledge, permission no body can enter his kingdom. another thing is if he were kind and compassionate he would not question like y should----- satisfied?

I would say that I am not worthy on my own merit to enter heaven. The only thing that saves me from my sin is Grace. And thank God for that. If it were up to my own good deeds I would not make it. I am deserving of every bad thing that comes my way but as Relient K says, "The beauty of Grace is that it makes life not fair." So I would say, "God I don't belong here. But I ask that you take mercy on me, even though I don't deserve it."

You know what? This is a hypothetical question. That's cool.
Let me tell you a Factual answer.

You will stand before God Himself. God will ask YOU nothing. God is going to ask Jesus Christ if He knows you. Jesus will say. Yes or Depart from me, I never knew you.

What you say NOW, on earth, is what you will be judged by in heaven.

wooooooooo hooooooooooooo

I'd spit in his face and tell the demon to get lost - we spent over 2 millenia with a false image of god because people changed the message of Unconditional Love preached by Jesus. The god that asks why he should allow us to enter is not God; it's an ego projection. Jesus tried to get this across in the Prodigal Son parable where the 'good' son doesn't get the nature of god and unconditional love and, instead, is angry when god doesn't behave the way he thinks god should. Jesus' parables are considered to be unchanged and he's talking directly to the fundamentalists whom he knows will change his message of unconditional love.

Kind of a silly question. If the "kingdom of heaven" dwells within then it's up to you to enter it. However, to humor you and answer the question..I would say "because I choose to".

I would say "lord, I know I'm not worthy, but since I am the gatekeeper and everyone else is already in, I was sorta hoping I could come in and lock the gate"

I am innocent because my sin is paid for in Christs death on the cross and I am righteous because His sinless perfection has been given me.
