It's surprising...I cut out milk (which I had on cereal and in tea/coffee every day) and I've seen the pounds just pour off... and I'm not really on a strict diet.

It's worked for me... but hey, you can still lose weight withouth taking out milk from the diet. I'd only ever drink skimmed milk anyway (0.1% fat)... you hardly taste the difference when it's on a cereal you like and there's about 20 less calories per 100ml and about 1% less fat than semi-skimmed. Same amount of vitamins and minerals too,.

Regardless of weight loss, I would never take milk off my diet. I think in the short and long term it is helpful. Dental uses, helpful to bone development and maintenance and I am sure it helps with my skin care too.

No. I've actually had better luck from adding milk and dairy to my diet. And I only use 2% milk and low fat dairy.

That's odd because all the health magazines says that milk/dairy products help to slim the waist.

I cut dairy products out of my diet two years ago, I mainly have soya now and initially I lost quite a bit of weight.

Absolutely. We do need calcium but we can get that from broccoli, for crying out loud. Cow milk is for baby cows. We only ever need water.
