Do uteri belong to the church?

It seems that women can do anything they want with the other parts of their body. They can get breast implants, liposuction, or donate a kidney. But if they want to do something with the contents of their uterus, they're forbidden. Since when does the church, or society, own uteri? People need to mind their own damn business and not worry about my uterus or anyone else's. It's mine, the contents are mine, and I can do whatever I want with them. If I get pregnant and want an abortion, it's my right to do that. It's my uterus and my clump of cells that's in it.

Last time I checked, the Church was not forcibly impregnating women. The Church merely helps its followers understand the possible consequences of the choices they are facing and gives them guidelines that would help them follow God's will in their life. Why should you have the right to silence the Church?

Wrong again. It's a person, and abortion is legal murder. The baby is not yours to treat like property, no matter where it happens to be along the line. It's not a potential person, not a clump of cells, but a person.
