I think we have all been in credit card situations before. See what you can do to stop using them all together. If you can't make the payments, please stop using the cards. You don't want your money to tell you what to do.........tell it what to do. There isn't any indication as to whether you are on a budget or not, so let me share. There is an awesome book called "The Total Money Makeover" by Dave Ramsey. Dave, also has a website: daveramsey.com. Now, I am not pushing this program on you, however, I have been through his teachings/program and I am also showing others how to "get out of debt". It is not hard to learn, however, it is "in your face teachings" and this will help you with debt. I pray that you are able to get over this financial hurdle and to plan your money and your future.......I have faith in you.

Yes otherwise your credit will be more destoryed than it would be otherwise. The Credit counslers always say stop making payments because they want the acouple of payments. I would avoid counseling as much as possible because its not always as good as deal as they make it seem.

The fact that you asked that question makes it totally clear to me why you are in credit counseling...

ask the CCC agency. Also know most banks look at people that have been in CCC equal to having a bankruptcy.
