My friend had 3 sessions with a wedding photographer,

One was for her engagement photos, One for her wedding gown photos (Those were on the beach in Cali) and She had a husband wife team snapping at her wedding and reception. All total, she spent just under $4000.00. They took over 800 photos. This should give you an idea. In my opinion you should definately hire a professional photographer...even if that is what you spend the most money on. You won't regret it!

It really depends on the package and the quality of the photographer and they're pictures. If you go with a lower end photorapher, it could be anywhere from $400-900. If you go with someone middle of the road, it could range from $850-1500. And if you go with a higher end photographer, it could be $1500-4000! It also depends on how long they will be with you throughout the day and if they go with film or digital. My cost was around $1400. She was there all day, took unlimited photos, did color and black and whites, gave us all of the pictures in the albums and a parents album.
Good luck with your search!

The price range for pics is as you have seen varied. Check with your friends and aquaintenances what they paid IF they like what they got. Check around in the towns near by also. We have a lady here that does fantastic shots and only charges $75 an hour. You get all of your pics on cd/dvd and you get to chose what to print or not and the sizes you want and where to have them printed (after all there are some cheap processing places on the web!) If you could find someone like her I think you would be really pleased, we all have been. And you can email them to whom ever you like for free! Good Luck and Congradulations!

Flowers can range from $500 and all the way up depending on what you want.
Photo would probably start $1000 to $5000 depending on a band or DJ.
Try looking up WWW.weddingchannel.com and on their you can find different vendors in your area. Call each one and schedule appointments talk with you might really like one and not care about the cost.

Don't know about professional packages but its a good idea to put a couple of disposable cameras on each table for your reception, guests can snap away and you can get some great natural photos of your special day

In Utah the most inexpensive basic package we found was about 500 dollars, but a lot others ran well over 2000 dolars.

Be prepared to spend anywhere from $500 to upwards of $1,000 or more. My wife and I spent about 400 but there again, we got CDs with our pictures on them so that we could print them out ourselves, and two DVDs of the reception. Probably depends on how affluent your area of the country is because that will drive the price up.

That totally depends on who you go to for your photos! There are packages of all size, rates, expense accounts. You can't even classify a "most common", probably.
