You should send flowers or something to the family, along with a short letter of condolence.
You don't usually get individual people gifts, for a death in the family. Maybe a book on the mourning process, or a photo to frame a pic of him and his uncle.

I'd go with a card, maybe some flowers but it doesn't seem like you need to do anything big after a few weeks. It's not like you knew the uncle.

A sympathy/sorry for your loss card would suffice or a mini flower arrangement for the family.

just send him a card to let him know you're thinking about him. if you want to do something more, send a card and a memorial donation to the uncle's family.

Don't give him anything he won't have any use for. Instead, lend him your shoulder. Tell him it's ok to miss his uncle. He won't need gifts because they can't replace someone in his family. Just be there for him and show him that you care. Let him talk to you. He'll appreciate it.
