Why are you so familiar with the sounds of pots and pans falling down the stairs? Does you wife have a habit of throwing these at you while you roll down the stairs?

Now back to your question. No, it's not a question, it's just a racist statement.

Lots of short, choppy one syllable words. Just the way their language is. I guess. I don't think questions like this are racist at all, we all sound funny to people with different accents and languages. I live in an American city full of Hmong immigrants whose language is harsh, unpleasant and even bizarre to my ears, but I have absolutely no resentment toward them.

It's a hilarious analogy and fairly accurate, actually. I wonder how they would describe the way English sounds to them. I heard a foreigner's exaggerated imitation of how English sounded to him and even though it sounded ridiculous and hilarious, it seemed strangely accurate.

Your question is rudely worded - however, if you were familiar with the Chinese "phonetic" alphabet, you would understand that their names are part of the kanji language, and have a deep and rich meaning, and the sounds that seem harsh to your ears is because you're more attuned to hearing latin, which is much softter (and thus, actually, more difficult to understand).

Also know that the "west" has "forced" Chinese to appear to have a "first" and "last" name, which is not how it is seen in Chinese. Thus, Mao Tse Tung, was reincarnated into Mao Zedong, to fit Western standards. Isn't it amazing that a people would change their names to make it easier for you, and yet you cast aspirations on what they sound like to your unattuned ears?

Scientific studies have shown that Chinese men have the SAME size penises as Europeans, first of all. Second of all, the reason their names sound like 'Pots and Pans' is because you are ignorant and don't have the first clue about other cultures and their languages.

This question is not racist, and I think it is hilarious, and even if I was Chinese, I would still think it was hilarious. How in the world are people getting offended because of this??
