My hair has been this way since I was a kid nothing will make it go away or change it. I need help in repairing the damage and keeping it healthy. Tips on styling without looking like as I said before a white girl trying to be black.

I dont want greasy hair its fine for african americans because thats the norm but on white people it just looks like you havnt washed your hair. I know I sound like Im being difficult but this is a difficult matter for me. My long hair is my pride and I want it to look good.

My two daughters are mixed try the miracle creme from here it's lighter doesn't have the petroleum in it. Basically look for the products in the African hair care aisle that doesn't have petro and you'll have an easier time getting it through your hair.

Umm yea u uve got a problem there but dont panic its ok...this might seem gross to u but....mix 1 egg n olive oil together n put it on ur hair like 20 minutes befour u take ur shower n after wash it with a shampoo(witout conditioner). ur hair will look shiney n more silky. wash ur hair only 3 times a week not more often...n dont 4get to brush ur hair regularly b4 goin to bed (start from the end) to spred the oil on ur scalp till the end of ur hair. n alwayz get regular haircuts to prevent split ends.

i can't help you with styling issues, but to help the dryness and brittleness, try eating jello products( the gelatin not pudding) several times a week.
it sounds goofy but it will really help the condition of your hair.
it also sounds like you need to find a more knowledgeable and sympathetic stylist.

ok I even have the same element i think of in case you rub them in basic terms top they'll pop and that they are like crammed with water although this isn't any great deal if it somewhat is what you have and are experiencing

Are you going to a stylist who is familiar with your hair type? You know, not everyone can "deal" with that particular hair; try going to a salon that knows what they're doing....

Hmmm...maybe you can use styling products for that type of hair...like different shampoos, conditioners..and of course...grease...

Maybe you should go to a dermatologist and see what they can prescribe for you to get your hair back in shape...before it all falls out and you have to wear a wig. good luck but really, go to a dermatologist.
