If you have the munchies at 9:00 then maybey have a snack at 8:00.

The munchies come at different times to different people. Always have on hand some fresh fruit or yogurt. I have a small bowl of high fiber cereal. There are some really good tasting ones. Add some fruit. At least you will be eating healthy. Never ignore a hungry body; it is telling you something.

Find something to do with your hands, like drawing or crochet...or you could always buy a bag of frozen fruit and munch on that. It takes longer to eat if it's frozen so you eat less than you would if it weren't.

Drink water, eat lettuce, Or ...Drink diet pop or herbal tea with artificial sweetner. Your brain doesn't know the difference between fake sugar (aspartame, sucrolose,dextrose etc) and real sugar. If you must eat-eat something low fat and low calorie eg oreo thinsations biscuits or soda crackers or have an apple-the fibre will fill you up.

If you aren't at work, then go to bed. That's what I do when I start to feel the need to munch.

Smell or chew some sprigs of mint...or if you must...chew Doublemint gum. Mint tricks your mind to stop sending the 'hungry' signal. Try getting some aromatherapy extracts to sniff, or light scented candles. Good luck. :)

I take a book and go to bed. I hate to eat in bed and once I am there I usually am too lazy to get up again. Besides i have to be up by 5.

Cereal digests fast, so that's a good snack. Make sure you're not thirsty, because sometimes your body says it's hungry but it's really thirsty.

You might be tired because your body is trying a way to fuel itself if it is sleepy but you are forcing yourself to stay awake.
