Yes! It is actually the best time! Right after you work out is the time of day when your metabolism is running at its highest (other than when you are actually working out) so more of that heavy meal will be burned off than at any other time of day.

It's typically best to wait about an hour so that the calories you have just expended are not immediately replaced. It's also been shown that working out in the morning, right after waking up and before eating breakfast, is the most beneficial. Of course, that only works if you have the time to spare in the morning and can give yourself an hour after that before breakfast.

Don't go having a full Thanksgiving dinner - you'll just be sleepy afterwards if you don't want to puke.
Have a reasonable meal that includes protein to repair your muscles used during your workout. Something like some grilled chicken, a roll, and a salad is perfect.

It depends on how rigorous the workout, and your individual constitution. I would reccommend a cool-down period, and, perhaps a shower, if you've worked out very strenuously. You'll stave off the hunger pangs, while concentrating on the good feeling of the soap and water, and provide a more conducive environment, inside, as well as out, for digestion. Be well.

well, maybe you should wait like 10-15 after working out, and then, it would probably be okay to eat something heavy
