Er, we're WAY ahead of you on this. I can't imagine that many of us didn't already know it.
It's just simply that it's false.

Is there a question or are you just ranting?
You are embarrassing yourself with your ignorance.
History has proven that christians cannot get along with one another without the benefit of government neutrality, as is the case with most (but not all) democracies.
Catholics and Protestants are both christians and if the red cross had all the blood that was shed during their battles with each other, they would never have to ask for another blood donation.
Ever hear of the Crusades? The Spannish Inquisition? For the love of....... For centuries the "right" religion changed faster than fashion (with the whim of the new king or queen) and be damned anyone who worshipped wrongly!
And do NOT try to say that was the past and that things are different nowadays because they are NOT (northern Ireland, for one). And I know plenty of protestants here in this country who are prejudiced toward catholics and visa versa. Many catholics would vote for a presidential candidate simply because he were catholic. Many protestants would NOT vote for that same candidate for the same reason.
It's the rarely spoken of dirty little secret among you chirstians.... you pretend to accept each other only because (for now) there are those of us (non believers) you hate more than you do each other.
So turn that finger around and point it at yourself!
By the way.... if you believe that "all that matters is that you believe that jesus christ paid the price for your sins on the cross (sic)" and this gets you "to heaven," you are in the minority within your own religion. Maybe you should speak with your spiritual leader for guidance. I fear you are going to burn in hell. I hope you're enjoying the ride.
(atheists believe in only one less god than you!)

I think you missed the whole lesson that Jesus was teaching. It was not to except Jesus Christ as your lord and savor or that he died on the cross for the sins of humanity.
He was teaching that we have the kingdom inside us and the power to create that. There is no sin or to be saved is a big lie. That you do not need to go to church.
The kingdom is inside me and you. You need not look any further than your own heart/soul.
You might want to educate yourself on what truly Jesus was teaching because you are not likely to find it in the practice of any religion.

wrong.
You assume that al Christians believe that you
"gotta go through Jesus"
but that's not true. Some denominations say you only need love in your heart and that even if you don't accept J.C and the boys, you can get to heaven if you are sorry for your "sins" and lived a decent life.
Oh, but me... I flush your silly religion away http://flushaholybook.com

Everyone and their mother knows what you believe. We've all heard it 23,788 times just today.
If a mass killer-rapist-pedophile, in the last minutes of his life, "truly repents" and comes to "believe" that "Christ paid the price" for his sins, then he's going to heaven.
And if one of those he raped and killed was a 16 year old Hindu girl who worked in an orphanage feeding children as a volunteer, she will go to hell.
Trust me. We get the picture.

Please educate yourself about the truth of religious freedom and realize that there is more than one "right" path in this world.
Being Spiritual is different from being religious....and you, my dear, are a religious nut, not a spiritual fruit.
