"Let us live in a world of peace where no muslim terrorists give Islam a bad name, or ignorant christians spread hatred"
Wouldn't that be lovely??
This can only be done if you and I and all those who agree stand up and say, "NO MORE!!"
If we stand up to the Jerry Falwells and Osama Bin Ladens of this world and yell, "You don't speak for me!!"

Ok, yes, I understand your frustrations.
Here are the problems.
You said Christians can teach you much about the "prophet" Jesus.
First and foremost to me and some Christians, denigrating The Lord Jesus Christ down to a prophet is a high insult -- no if and or buts about it.
And, no we do not in any way shape or form believe that Muhammad was the last prophet of God, we believe he's the false prophet that Christ warns against :
Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Mat 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Another bothering aspect is the idea that if a woman isn't covered from head to toe in a sack cloth, she's not modest and if something happens to her she brought it on her self for not being mumified, BALONEY!
Also, this idea that we were all born Muslim and because we follow another religion, we've turned our back on Islam and are now the enemy is nonsense. Why is it that in Islamic run countries people of the "book:" are taxed because they refuse Islam?
Yes Muslims are getting a lot of flack from people (not just Christians) about terrorists. Most intelligent people know that not all Muslims agree with the terrorists. Yet, quite a few us resent the silence from the "peaceful" Muslim community about the terrorist attacks. One Muslim told me, a long time ago, it isn't right for Muslims to speak out against their fellow Muslims -- there in is the problem.
We also hear quite a bit of "they made them do it" Sorry, we don't buy that! ONe minute we hear how peaceful on a whole Islam is but then we hear about: honor killings, slave trafficking and jihad -- this is the year 2006 not 7th century AD. When these atrocities are brought to light we either hear -- this is not Islam or Muslims don't do these things.
You have one Muslim here on this board say that Muslims don't have wife abuse, depression, mental illness and a couple of other things he listed.
HOW ridiculous! Muslims are people too and they DO have these occurances happen in the Muslim world, to say they don't is a flat out lie! It's the Muslim code of silence and denial that bugs people to no end.
I could go on and on but I won't -- I've had enough!
So, yes your frustration is understood but you need to understand the frustration on our end with Muslims.

I hope we can, as I believe most Americans do, we just don't know how to get there. I think an American Soldier is fighting for Islamic Americans as well as Jewish or Christian Americans to have the freedom of religion, speech, and the other things freedom stands for. Are Islamic countries fighting for what they believe is freedom? Are they fighting because their spiritual leaders tell them what is correct and give the individual no status. Especially if they question a law set by the Clerics? They even send their young men wired to a bomb to kill each other, why? My hope is instead they train their young men to Negotiate, so instead of dying and becoming a martyr, they live and become a hero of their own people and admired by the rest of the world for the intelligent handling of a disagreement. I am not putting down any religious sect the Americans can and have acted stupidly at times instead of finding out the truth then acting to resolve it. as have the Jews and others. I am glad you feel as I do that the more questions we ask each other and try to understand each other the more the Earth has a chance to survive. thank you for your question, hope more will follow

i wish we could do that?
but where do we begin? people have become so ignorant and closed minded that they are not willing to open their minds to reality and whats really going on and who the real terrorists are..
at the time of prophet mohammed (pbuh), he made peace with the jews..
why cant people do that now? what have we got other than ego?
muslims and christians dont realise how actually similar both religions are... how actually they can really communicate and live like normal people and accept people for who they are and not what they believe in. religion is a personal choice, if people want to become friendly with each other, they have to put the religious differences behind them, and judge people for their minds and hearts and personalities..
I really wish we could all come to our senses and become better people..

It is possible, yes. In fact, many Christians and Muslims (and Jews, too) are already living that dream--getting along famously and working together to help people every single day.
And they could use some extra help.
People of different faiths get along every single day. It's not impossible. It's not even all that difficult. All that's needed is a little common courtesy and a firm determination to be part of the solution, not the problem, to build instead of burn.

Well lets see here. I don't think it's the Christian's who are
1.Cutting the Muslims heads off with steak knives.
2. Crashing planes into their buildings
3. Strapping bombs to their chest and killing women and children.
But some how you say it's the Christians that hate the Muslims? There is not one place in the Bible that commands Christians to physically hurt any other person. In fact we are to "love our enemy". Does your book tell you to do that? I don't think so? Stop and think for one second how foolish your question is!

Great point. You're absolutely right, but it's hard to sort good people from bad sometimes. But, people should be united no matter what their religion. I am a Christian, but I can't judge someone who hasn't been raised the same as I have.

Good idea but the way world is going now,,,,Christians and Jews are just one step away from killing all Muslims. Look at all the hateful questions and answers toward Islam/Muslims. May Allah enlighten their wisdom.

First of all, To Christians Jesus is God, not just prophet.
You can't mix the belief together.
Muslims and Christians can work together, but not in the religious view.
Furthermore, Christians don't hate Muslims. I don't how where you got that idea!?
