currently I'm running, but not everyday, and doing lunges, and mostly eating fruit , but not seeing any results.

Fruit has too much sugar
Ttry eating lots of salmon and all the greens you can, and water not only will you loose weight but you will look radiant , lean and happy

The most you should lose is 2 to 3 pounds a week. Running and cardio exercises 3 times a week will help. Also replacing breakfast and lunch with diet shakes and then a sensible dinner will take the weight off. If you crash diet to lose the weight it will just come right back when you start eating normally again. Also give yourself a treat at least once a week. A nice dessert or candy bar, so that you don't feel deprived. Good luck.

My advice? You need to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. The 45 minute thing is not true, but don't over 60 minutes at a time.

Do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Fast walking is good too & not so hard on your feet & knees. You must exercise 6 days a week for 30 minutes minimum & use weights. Find a strenuous game like tennis or basketball & play alot - you gotta work up a sweat!) Eat more vegetables too, and eat 5 SMALL meals rather than 3 bigger meals. Cut back on white foods (bread, potatoes,sugar...) DO eat breakfast & make it the biggest meal each day. Avoid smorgasboards. Use low fat or zero fat dressings on salads - and drink diet drinks and water. Avoid sweets. Ask anyone who watched 'The Biggest Loser' - this is the best way, not any particular diet. Honest.
