It depends on how good or bad it was, and if it really was love. If he treated you good and you were happy, and especially if he dumped you, then you will never forget. But as time goes on, even if you don't meet someone the same you will meet others and easily fall in love again. We adapt

If it was true love then YES!
I first meet the girl I married when she was 16 and I was 18. It was definitely true love at first sight for both of us. We went our separate ways through university etc but then came back together and got married in our late 20s. We would have been married 25 years this coming weekend but then Friends Reunited got in the way three years ago and she left, broke up two families, for a guy she had known prior to marrying me.
I still not only never forget her but love her....true love endures all things as the saying goes. My marriage vows included for better or for worse...this is the worse but then it is easy to love in the good times etc.
Cheerish that first love regardless of what happens - modern values disgards too many precious things these days to the detriment of each of us individually but also all of us collectively as a society.

Yes very true i have never forgotten my first love, even now after 30years, when i see her in the town i still get the little butterfly feelings and that little buzz, but alas i know nothing will ever happen because we have both moved on and married our respected partners but i often wonder what if !!

I would say yes... but don't be tempted to go on a trip down memory lane a few years later. Quite often it can be dissapointing and it might taint those sweet candy coated memories you keep with you.
