Alright just relax we can get you through this.... I'm a colorist and I'm here to help. Ultra light ash blond has a violet or a blue base, now we need to neutralize the violet. We are going to use a yellow base. Now what that means to you is your going to need a golden blond, Use an ultra light if you like or even just light golden blond. Only leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes, if you can use a cloth to check a strand if its not coming up add another 5-10 minutes. That should be a pretty easy fix for you to do, it doesn't sound like you messed up that badly. Good luck.
ps those up above are making it more than it seems your going to be just fine.

Casca is Totally RIGHT, and everyone else is dead wrong. go get an ultra light golden blond, you can buy an semi-permanent, if they have it in your shade....... it will be less damaging on your hair, and will work just as well to tone out the blueish color......
This is very common, do not panic!
I would recommend a really good deep condition, and a hot oil treatment.... try Olive oil or coconut oil to help your hair feel great and look shiny.
Good luck!
Whatever you do do not try to put dark brown on it to fix it.

Go to a place like Sally's Beauty Supply where professional hair care products are sold--do NOT use generic hair dye! Then find a TONER, with red or gold tones to conteract the bluish color, it won't lighten your hair it will just change the tone of your hair, and it is also less damaging than bleaching it again. Good Luck---been there, done that!

You can NOT fix this at home. You used an ash base hair color from the store. The worst you could do. You will need to go to a salon and get it stripped and then color balanced. Then they can get you to the color you were after. If you try it at home you will make your hair a total disaster! Im a color specialist- I see this all the time!!!
