i hav a dance in a week too and i feel the same way, i hav no idea. i plan on "bumping into him" and go from there if he does hav a date by then just play it off like nothin happened

definately ask him you have nothing to lose. do it now before someone beats you to it. gone are the days when guys had to ask girls and he may be too shy to ask you. good luck.
