If the bus is late I feel if I wasn't standing there it would have turned up. Same when I go for a train. I forget all the times the bus and train was on time because it is easier to remember the negative thoughts.
Sounds as though you are worrying about money and this is making you feel negative.
Someone crashing into your car might involve money you haven't got and it makes you even more negative.
Go to a money advice place in the UK a citizens advice bureau, they can help sort your money out.
Bad things happen to all of us, write a diary on a night of a good thing that happened that day. Then at the end of the week look back at it. It helps keep things in perspective. For me it might be the bus or train was on time. It doesn't have to be big things.
Hope this helps. :-)

It seems like you are going through a bad patch. What you need to do is find your way back before you go too deep into the negative side and get very depressed.
Having good friends is a blessing and talk to them about how you feel and let them remind you about the good things that have been happening, surely having good friends is a good thing
Socialise with your friends and if you continue to feel this way speak to a counsellor.
If you are genuinely not happy about ur job do something about it, look for a new job, but don't quit ur old job until you have a new job.
Get help in organising ur finances, ask a close friend for advice.

God bless and good luck to you. I thought it was just me! I guess you can say that a bad outlook can "attract" bad happenings but if you really think about it they usually are the cause of each other. For example, when I get stressed out about money, I usually get sick. That makes me do poorly at work, then the boss gets mad etc etc. You have to stop the cycle by doing everything you can not to let the first thing get you so down. It's really hard to do but it gets easier as you go. Good luck to you. There's always someone here on Answers to listen and help you out.

Bad things happen to us all, its the way you look at it that's important.I'm naturally optimistic so all the bad **** that happens to me seems quite trivial.
Try looking at things differently,if someone crashes into your car so what? your are insured (I hope!) so don't worry as long as your safe.
Job crap? look for another, you can still see your friends after work.
Don't get paid enough? as above or spend less for a few weeks.
Smile when you get out of bed and take the **** head on! Only you can change things.
remember; your glass is always 1/2 full, never 1/2 empty.
Good luck!

it's all a matter of perspective, friend. My husband thinks the same way, so I try to get him thinking about all the good things that have been happening in the past few years, counting blessings and simplifying our lives so we don't expect so much. I read this today: I don't care if the glass is 1/2 empty or full, I'm just glad I've got a glass.

bad things happen to every one,for example : trip on a shoe lace ,heater breaks down, an audit, think you have to fart and sh*t your self , cable goes out in the midle of your favorite show, a family member dies.
what we fail to focus on is the fact good things happen to every one as well .
take some time think of 20 good things that have hapened to you in the last 30 days ,you'll be suprised at how good even a lousy life can be
and remember tomarow just may be your day

i'm sure it will pass, at least you have friends. Oh ya, I think it's kind of Ironic that your nickname is perfect and the question says bad things keep happening to you. Well hopefully your life gets better!

It sounds like money, would fix your problems, some of us are not that lucky. If you dont have a partner, find one, makes money easier, and having a person to share your life with is pretty good. If money troubles are getting you down, relationship troubles might kill you..

Negative thoughts attract negative reactions. Maybe try changing your outlook a tiny bit and things might start changing around you. Try some basic NLP (NeuroLinguistic Programming) and affirmations.
