No. If you have a perm, you should be able to style your hair as if you have a relaxer. Just wrap, set, or blowdry and curl.

Don't do the relaxer you will have such damaged hair all you will see is frizz.Sometimes a fresh perm will seem way to curly but it will settle in two weeks. You can weigh it down and make it start to settle early go to a beauty supply and put wella cholesterol in wet to moist hair like you do a reconstructor packet and leave it on for a few hours or even longer than rinse leaving a little in your hair.Make sure you have a plastic cap over your head or saran wrap to make sure the hair stays moist the whole time.My mom used to do that alot after her perms .It will help weigh and settle it .Try it a few days later too.If you keep this perm you might end up liking it.A bad fry job from to many chemicals looks worse and takes longer to grow out.Trust me this will help.I have had a bad perm before and it makes you cry but damaging your hair is not the answere. We also used to leave the wella in for 5 hrs to.There is no protein in it so your hair wont dry out it will help you hair to feel softer to.Alot of relaxers are stronger than perms.

Just go back to the salon where you got the perm and tell them you hate it.

You shouldnt have left without making sure it was okay, you dont pay for a service you dont like in a salon, and they are more able to help you when they know exactly what has happened and when.

But yeah, i would go back to your salon, or a another of better quality, and ask what you can do about it.

Usually a perm with chill out a little in a few weeks and not be so so tight and frizzy. If thats what your problem is.

Aarrrrrrrgh!!! Ppl a perm is not the same as a relaxer. A perm gives curls while a relaxer relaxes the curl. Wait at least 2 weeks for another chemical process. Until then get your hair blow dried straight with a round brush. And once again a relaxer is not a PERM. That's how ppl get ****** up advice!!!!!! When she goes bald it's your fault. Ignorant a$$.

Risky... It might be too much for your hair...

Best Advice - WASH IT NOW!! (A couple of times in a row...)

Often you can get the chemicals out by washing it sooner than you are suppose to and it will relax on it's own... If you put in a relaxer (esp right after a perm) you risk really messing up your hair. I had a friend who's hair started to fall out after she tried to relax her perm right after getting the perm... Or, it can frizz and break do to over-processing...

After perming hair, it is unhealthy for your hair to be processed chemically for a minimum of three weeks. It gives your hair time to recover and also new growth to come in. If you relax your hair now, you run the risk of your hair breaking off completely or in patches. Trust me, you do not want to learn from experience. But if you want to be absolutely sure, ask a stylist. At least if they steer you wrong, you can sue. Hope this helps!

If your a woman of color a relaxer is also a perm. Just change the hair style. A perm for non woman of color gives curls but a perm for african american woman straightens the hair and its also called a relaxer.

a perm is a relaxer. if you relax it again youll really hate cause youll have no hair. you have to wait till it grows out then cut off the relaxed part and start over. or wait till the relaxer wears off. when ever you wash your hair wash it with a perm removiong shampoo, that will help your process go faster.

ewwwww never try relaxer over relaxer immediately cause that "might" make your hair fall out or worse yet seem really stringy, dry and brittle but every persons hair is different....I would simply recommend going to a salon tell them what happend and see if they can at least give you a cute little style till what you have grows out or you can trim it into another style all together.

Go to the liqueur store and buy a bolt of Vodka, Mix it with Orange juice or your favorite juice then drink it down. Granted you will forget about your perm, and it will relax you.
