My bf recieved a piece of mail today from a girl who sent it to his old address and it was forwarded to our new one. (I didn't live with him before). The fact that it was sent to his old one tells me this is someone he hasn't talked to in a while. Plus the envelope is purple (not very professional) and the address is a residental area not a business. I wanna know who this is and what she needs with my man! Anyone know how to open an envelope, and still be able to stick it back together??

I would let him open it in front of you. Let him read what it says. Then politley ask him to read it. If he lets you read it you will know who it is and whats going on.If he tells you No,then there is reason for you to be suspicious. I feel if loves you he will let you read it. But dont try to sneak and read it he will feel you do not trust him and thats the last thing you want him thinking. Hope things go well goodluck.

Put it in the microwave for a few seconds at a time. It'll dry the glue to the point of being able to open the letter, and you can glue it back together.

Of course, the real question is why don't you let him read it, and trust him to be honest with you about it. It's probably just an old friend trying to get in touch with him

If you hold it over some steam for a while, the glue will loosen and you will be able to open it without it tearing. When you are done reading, you can stick it back shut. If there isn't enough glue left, you can use a glue-stick. But be careful-sometimes the steam can wrinkle the paper. You only need enough to loosen it, that's all.

Yes but I'm not going to share it with the world. I also don't think you should be messing with his mail it is against the law you know.

steam it open with a teapot. the steam will loosen the adhesive, but keep it sticky...although, i'd recommend not snooping...id just ask him about it when he opens it.
