I just recently won my son back (he's two) and I can't get my little bro to give me a minute with him. My bro's 17 and has a few screws missing, and I know he missed my son as much as I do, but I'm not sure how to tell him to leave my kid alone! Any advice?

Thanks,
majito

that's cool i love my nieces and nephews too, don't tell him to leave him alone. he's an uncle we're the people that when they(your kids) run away they come to our house. when the want to tell a huge secret the come to the favorite aunt of uncle, I'm really close to mine and some times i can sense the parents frustration for not being the favorite (hehe) your bro is 17 he'll be starting his own life soon and won't have as much time with his nephew. do things that include him sometimes and before you know it things will be as they should be. your son's lucky, lots of kids don't get that kind of love...

Don't tell him to leave your son alone. Take time out with your son and tell your bro you need special time together. Then arrange time to include your bro. Set boundries. It sounds like babblee but it is the way to do it.

How about you tell him you need some one on one bonding time with your son and tell him he can plan some fun time for the 2 of them as well

Just tell him that you need the time alone with your child, and then be careful not to leave them alone together too much.
