well since you said NEW, i would imagine that a Ford Mustang GT is your best bet. thats 300 AMERICAN horse power for around 25-27000

Thats tough! You do know that for about $25K you can buy a late 90's Porsche Boxter! Those are really flashy, and really powerfull. Why new? Under $30k all you are going to get is things like the Chevy Cobalt. Would you rather have a little everyday ordinary sedan, or a two door coupe sports car, that is european! Think about that!

well u can get a subaru wrx sti for about 31k. its a sick car n fast as ****. it comes w/ a turbo. it throws u back in ur seat for every gear u change. i can get mine up to 110 in 4th. the a 6 speed. i just got it 2 days ago n i LOVE it. im gonna add some things to make it faster.
try the mits. evo. its just as fast as the sti but the sti is better

Definatly do the Mustang GT, you can buy one well under $30g & use the extra ca$h to modify & blow away any rice burners.

you can get a kit car I used to build the countash 1000, for fifty,thou..but you can cut corners not have infared reverse camera.. lamma leather..v-12 just put a high performace engine,etc...to many to list..
