Great! Just leave in a roast and come home to it being done! Time saver

Not sure exactly what you want to know, but I love using a slow cooker.

You can put the ingredients together in the morning and put it on low, and when you get home dinner is ready.

Plus, I like to bag up ingredients and freeze them. Then I can just pull something out of the freezer and dump it in. A few hours later it's done.

Another reason I love it is because you can take a real cheap chuck roast and it comes out so very tender when it is cooked slow.

Slow cooking? I find it wonderful. We often eat at different times, which isn't a problem with slow cooking. Also, I can chuck stuff in in the morning and not worry about dinner. I find it taste so much better than casseroles done in the oven. Its easy to do really healthy meals, and you don't loose the water soluble vitamins in veg like you do with boiling.

Its brill. casseroles, stews, hotpots, and best of all you wanna try a chicken curry in a slowcooker. The meat marinates better over 5 or 6 hours and tastes just like a takeaway. Also theres the smell when you come in from work, as soon as you open the door. Plus, not much washing up to do. And, healthy, no greasy fried chips etc, just potatoes & veg .

I love it. It's healthier and the whole house smells like yummy food. I enjoy the food better because of all the anticipation and it tastes better because some real care gets put into it. At home, I can adjust the spices to my own preferences and I know what medium rare is going to look like.

I'm all for Slow Food! It's probably the best time for family and Friends to really connect, and enjoy really good food that sticks in your memory!!
Not possible every day, due to me working shifts, but it's something my family try to do as often as possible!!

Home cooked food is far better for us than all those fast food outlets. I am fussy on knowing what I eat.

Not that long ago it was the way things were done everyday. Families ate together and ate good food at the same time. I raised my kids that way and it was the way we had our nightly meals.
