It sounds to me like you are having some sort of reaction to the pain killers. It can take a few days to a week or more for different pills to clear your system. You must also consider that surgery is a big deal. Some people take more time to recover than others. A week is not a long time. I suggest sleep, rest, eating (so you're not weak and to facilitate healing) and if need be, get your surgeon/doctor to prescribe another pain killer you can tolerate.

See how you feel in another week. I bet you'll feel a lot better. Ask yourself if you felt like this before surgery. If so, then perhaps when you heal, you can entertain the idea of seeing someone about how you are feeling. If not, then you may just need to recover and consult your surgeon about the way you feel instead.

The buzzing is called tinnitus and is a common side effect with some pain medications. Being dizzy is also common with pain meds. Give yourself time to come down off the meds, you will likely be fine.

You are hearing things? like, what besides buzzing? Sing your favorite song in your head or loud. Have some music around at all times.. self talk....Keep saying... I'll be just fine. Can you afford to see a shrink? then don't wait until things get really bad.. take care of things before they become a problem.. o.k sweety.

You need to speak with your doctor. You are having a reaction to the meds and it also takes a couple of weeks for the anesthesia to fully leave your system (this can cause problems). I doubt' you are dying but call the doctor.

Calm down. You are having normal effects of the withdrawel of an opiate. If you were on pain pills for only a week you are ok. It will pass.

More than likely you are having anxiety.

Calm down, take a hot bath and relax. If you still feel this way in an hour or so call your doctor, he or she will have someone on call.

It's OK, I've had the exact same thing happen to me.

It may just be the medication that you had taken or a side effect of the surgery. Talk to your doctor and see what is recommended

Could be tinitus. I would suggest seeing your GP and taking it from there.
