There are many schools of thought as to where this has originated from the full poem
Work like you don't need the money;
dance like no one is watching;
sing like no one is listening;
love like you've never been hurt;
and live life every day as if it were your last.
It's supposedly an old Irish Wedding toast dating back to 1700's. Others believe it was something quoted by Satchel Paige but I doubt that. Is has been Incorporated into a naff song by Guy Clarke too. Hope this helps :)

Hiya can't think of the name but have it somewhere on my computer think its called an irish blessing is it the 1 that also says may your hands always have work to do will check it out for you and get back sorry may take a little time as had a new modem fitted today. Bernie
