Unless you actually know a man with that name, actually living TODAY, its a useless arguement.

The earliest writings on JC were from 35 years after his "crucifixion" and were not based on eyewitness testimony...only rumor. No records actually exist concerning his execution, and the Romans were notoriously detailed in there record keeping.

Does Jesus speak vicariously through you?

Personally, I am an atheist, and I am perfectly content staying this way. Atheists simply cannot force themselves to believe in any religion, including Christianity. Although I have great respect for the Christian religion and Jesus himself (his life and legacy), I do not believe that he ascended to heaven.

I am rather offended that you believe that all atheists are foolish and mean spirited. Does your religion condone or promote callous prejudice?

There are many other religions and nonreligions in the world. It's called diversity. Accept it.

If you see him ,tell him I will believe if he comes to my home.
Oh thats right he`s all knowing .How come he doesn`t know where i live .
I`ve been waiting 55 years ,And please don`t tell me i`ll see him when i die .
No person has ever came back from the dead and said he is real .

Funny. Not, ha ha funny, but the kind of funny you get when you see the neighborhood retarded kid playing on the swing when you leave for work, and again when you get home.
You're just glad you're not him.
So, thank you, I'm VERY glad I'm not you!

Unfortunately, many won't accept the good news. We just have to live for Christ and pray for them.
