Most Yahoo Answer members think so. The following is a copy of another one of my questions I asked with the updated details. It seems that white is bad. Look and see what you think.

I didn't realize it wasn't mine until some a few days ago. My Girlfriend told me due to some test results that was performed on her and the baby. She said she wasn't sure if it was mine but was hoping it was so she didn't tell me. Well the father of this baby is black and that freaked me out. I'm not a racist or anything but I don't believe in interracial mixing. It's not fair to the child. I need advice on what to do. There is no way I can love this cross bread baby but I still love my girlfriend even though she crossed an ethnic barrier.

This girl didn't cheat. We met while we were both seeing other people. Hey, adults have sex and sometimes kids happend to save the moral crap for the Religious section. I'm not racist, I just don't want a black baby. How is that hard for anyone to understand. I bet a black man wouldn't want a white baby either. It's just the way the world is.

Ofcourse the color of the baby would matter. How in the hell could I go around with a little black kid calling me daddy. I'm not black and I'm not it's daddy. It's not fair to the kid. Not my problem to love the litte guy, I'm not it's maker. Half breed children are hated by both black and white families. It's just a fact. They don't fit in. It's not that I am racitst, it the fact that I am proud of my race. Nothing wrong about that. Blacks can be proud about being black, why can't I be proud of my heritage. Being White isn't a freaking sin.

You say your not a racist, but your words say otherwise. You say you love your girlfriend, so how can you love her but hate her child? The last time I checked, children with black & white parents are called "Bi-Racial". The fact that you are calling her child a "Half-Breed", proves that you are indeed a racist. Bi-racial children are not hated by both black and white families. There are many people, including celebrities, who have adopted bi-racial children. I know a white woman who has a black boyfriend who is always there for his kids. I also know several white couples who have adopted black children. So get your facts straight before you say anything about who hates who. And also, who says that her child is going call you daddy? Kids are taught to call their parents "Mommy" or "Daddy". Since you are not this boy's father, why would he call you 'daddy'? Being white isn't a sin, and you are well within your right to be proud to be Caucasian, but hating a child because he is BI-RACIAL, is most definitely WRONG!! If you cannot accept yor girlfriends child, then I say FIND ANOTHER GIRLFRIEND, cause I would not put up with your RACIST ATTITUDE!!!

It's not wrong to be proud that you're white. what is wrong is that you try to put others down for being parts of races put together, rather than pure. (which because of evolution probably didn't ever exist.)

If you said I'm proud of what my ancestors have contributed, and also appreciate what other have done, I could respect you.

You give no credit to anyone else though.

I AM mixed with black and white, and can see the positives both have added, but also the negatives as well. If you ignore someones race for awhile and listen to them, you'll see we all are just trying to survive and jumping through the same hoops, and dealing with the sime trials and tribulations that life tosses our way, so why trip others up and have them resent you.

Some people are unstable and crazy. Do you really wanna dance on the mine field??

As an African American women I would not say your racist, but you do have some race issues if you know what I mean. Many families adopt out of there race. White couples adopt from all races more than anyone else. The good thing is that you are honest about your feelings with your girlfriend. I do not think it would be embarrassing to embrace a child of another race, but the choice is yours. LOVE IS COLOR BLIND. I applaud you for being proud of your race as would an Asian, Indian or a Mexican, etc, but to not love an innocent child because it is Bi-racial is sad. Not all bi-racial child are hated, family and environment can subject them to hardships but we all go through things in life. Good luck and God Bless you Mr. White Man LOL.

If you cannot accept too bad. No statement you made is absolute. People can learn to love others. Especially babies because they are innocent. They did nothing to cause their occurrence. A neighbor of mine adopted a black child. He manages it. Maybe you cannot.

Being descended from melanin deprived ancestors who lived in the far north and therefore needed all the help they could get to get their vitamin D is no cause for your pride or despair.

It is fine to be proud being a thinking, loving, caring human being!
Further, we should be proud of what we are and our ancestors were!
Individuals, including white people, we can't be proud for everything we have done! We have made good but also disgusting activities in the past and even right now!
Further, individuals are not responsible for what other individuals of their own race, nation, state, religion, etc. have done!

No, racial pride is perfectly reasonable.

However, the real questions here are not about racial pride. They are about your relationship with your woman.

1) Do you love and respect each other?
2) Do you make each other laugh?
3) Do you make each other feel better about yourselves.
4) Do you want to have children with her and raise them with her.

If the answers to those questions are "yes", then you have one more question to ask yourself.

5) Are you willing to raise that baby so the two of you can be together?

It's time to decide.

No i don't see why not hell black people and go around saying "i'm black and i'm proud" so i guess you can say "i'm white and i'm proud" as long as it stays in your rights meaning follows the Bill of rights

also i'm not proud to be black but i am proud to be an American

I'm white and I'm proud...Other races are proud of themselves, I'm proud of my self. And I agree that the mixing of the races hurts everyone involved.
I'm not racist either...but keep it in your own race. Mixed children have a terrible time fitting in, and they don't all look like Halley Berry or Mariah Carey.
Keep to your guns...be white and proud.
