You're right

But are you addressing one atheist or multiple atheists?

Frankly, I don't see any indication that the Christians, the Atheists, the Agnostics, the Jews, the Islamics, the Buddhists, the Taoists, the Seventh Day Adventists, or anybody else of any other belief system is going away any time soon. But all of them would probably appreciate some relief from the squirrels.

I don't have a problem with God or Jesus, it's hypocrisy that I have trouble with, if I ask a question about paedophiles and the churches (all churches) I get abuse not a serious answer, there seems to be no compassion for the victims.

P.S. I suspect that if Jesus does come back, the churches are going to be decimated.

Not true.
With knowledge and intelligence, people turn away from such mythological nonsense.
In fact, church attendance is in a decline. I've seen three churches closed up in the last 2 years in this area alone. Two were bulldozed to the ground (I guess god couldn't come up with repair money) and one turned into a restaurant (It did'nt look much like a church to begin with).
The better the education, the less people need to rely on superstition.
One day, religion will only be an embarrasing footnote in the history of humanity.
It's inevitable.

When are the Christians going to learn that the atheists aren't going away either?

Agreed on that, but then, by nature , atheists don't have to believe in what, to others is strictly a matter of Faith (with, granted, a small basis in reality)

They'll go away. Almost certainly not in my lifetime, but they will. Every religion eventually fails just as every society eventually fails. We'll still know about it, but it will be in the way we know about the ancient egyptian gods, roman gods, greek gods, etc. Not being around to see it isn't going to make me give up on it, sorry.

Well, Christians and Christ will go away when we die because we won't have to put up with hearing about them. :)

Oh, you'll go away. The dinosaurs did. And, with brains the size of walnuts, they were slightly smarter than you!
