More than likely, both will count. You took both classes. You participated (or failed to participate) in both classes. You pulled grades from both classes. The first grade probably counted when you pulled it, and the same would likely apply to the second grade.

My advice? If you were able to pull an A over the summer, you should probably pay more attention during the school year -- then you wouldn't have to worry about which grades count. It all counts! There is no "grace period" for "getting used to" a certain subject. But, I'm only a college professor (what do I know?)

Both. I think the school will take the average between an A and a D. So you're final grade is a B-. That B- will count towards your GPA. Check with a counselor to be sure.

The A counts in your GPA but your D would still be on the transcript, just not factored in the GPA

what do you think? if you fail a test, and the teacher lets you retake it, does the first test count?

if you took geometry in summer school, you get the new grade. congrats on the improvement.

Usually when you retake a course and get a higher grade, the better grade is the one that stays on your transcript and GPA.

if you retake a course, it should replace the other grade if you get a better grade. i know for sure in college it does replace the grade (even if you get a worse grade). the worst is that they could average to a C+ or something like that.

I think both. I think that they wil put on the D and then it will show that you took it over again and then show that you got an A
