Besides the obvious, such as?
-- getting certified training as a groomer
-- getting a buisness license
-- getting insurance that will cover you if you injure a dog or if the dog owner doesn't like the job you've done
--- finding a place where you can legally set up a shop
-- hiring personnel (payroll, workers comp insurance, taxes, etc.)
-- purchasing supplies
-- tracking appointments
-- tracking income and expenses
-- filing taxes

... It's not as easy as just opening your door. You need a detailed business plan.
